Pivotal was formed in late 2016 by a practicing OD and an Optician pair who wanted to focus on bringing competitive profit to practices. We wanted to give independents a chance in the consolidated world we find ourselves in, and a huge component of that was controlling cost of goods through edging and stock programs, paired with opt out and other freedom of choice programs.
You decide by how much you engage with our programs, there are no minimum purchases. You have to be an independent optometrist who runs an optical and doesn’t own any kind of wholesale lab or group purchasing organization yourself. Outside of that, hop in because it’s free and we’re not going to take any money from you unless you buy something.
Pivotal can help you with a variety of programs, including extremely well priced and high quality lab services, credit card processing, and strategies for opting out and out of network billing.
